pop up blocker sucks in firefox
the pop-up blocker sucks even the one in IE works better for example www.onthebox.com always gives me pop ups and yes my opitions are clicked to block them in firefox, also there is no pop up blocker software that I know for firefox unlike IE which has some where u can add the culprits to a block list so they dont bother u anymore. overall i prefer mozillas speed but h8 the pop-ups!

Download Ad Muncher:

Dont know I dont get any popups or warning at all.
Even with ad muncher disabled. Might be my host file too.
I would install host file too:

Well I've never had problems with popups in firefox so cant help u with that per say.

Just add paypop.com,doubleclick.net,fastclick.net to your HOSTS file. That will take care of 80% of the popups.
For more detailed ways to get rid of ALL popups follow the link Joel posted.

I came across this site for testing pop-up blockers: http://www.popuptest.com/
Tell me how to block this without disabling JavaScript: http://www.instantattention.com/
I use Ad-Aware, Spybot, SpyBlaster, SG, AdBlock (casalemedia, fastclick, doubleclick), and Fx.
