Quicktext, as written, is not compatible with TB ver 45 or later. Emil Hesslow, the extension's author, has not been heard from on his support website for years. Per his LinkedIn page, he moved from Sweden and now works for Facebook in Menlo, CA.

A third party patched version of Quicktext is available. See: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=3001547. I'm using this patch successfully, but it is not officially supported, so use at your own risk.
