I just tried to help a friend set up her Yahoo mail account (IMAP) in SeaMonkey, but the setup process never asked her for a password. There's no place in Preferences or Mail and Newsgroups Account Settings to enter the server password.
How can I force SeaMonkey to give me a place to enter the mail server password?

SeaMonkey won't ask for a password until it has made a valid connection with the Yahoo server. If you haven't seen that request it's likely that a setting needs to be changed to enable that connection. https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail-for-desktop/sln4075.html

Thanks. That's probably it. I'll try it next time I get with her.
