I'm switching over from Firefox to SeaMonkey, and have been looking for a way to copy my bookmarks into SeaMonkey. What I found is help stuff that seems to say no way, since the Firefox bookmarks are in json files.
Is that right? Or is there a way to do this?
Thanks,
Karen

Re: Import bookmarks from Firefox to SeaMonkey?
I found the JSON files would not import.
I exported to HTML from Firefox, saving to my desktop. (Select: bookmarks manager, tools, export to HTML)
Then I imported the HTML file thru bookmarks manager (Select: bookmarks manager, tools, import HTML)
This DOESN'T go straight to where you want it (for example toolbar), but saves BELOW. Scroll down and you will find your folder 'bookmarks bar' and 'bookmarks toolbar'. (They'll be closed.. open them to see all your bookmarks and folders)
To get them where I wanted them, ie: Seamonkey's Toolbar:
I selected the new 'bookmarks toolbar' folder in the left menu, opening up the list on the right - then highlighted the entire list on the right - copied it (right click 'copy') - then pasted into the Seamonkey toolbar, by dragging it across into the menu on the left. (into Bookmarks toolbar).
