The Lightning calendar extension, or a calendar in Lightning?

To delete a calendar in Lightning, select it, right click, click Delete Caleandar...

To delete the extension depends on how you installed it on Linux Mint 17.3. Go to the Add-ons Manager and see if you can remove it there, or you may have to use your Software Manager to find it and remove it from there. I believe the extension is called xul-ext-lightning.

Thank you WLS,

I am sorry, I should have been more precise in my question. I was asking how to delete a calander in the Lightning Add-On. I read that, as you said, select it, right click then click delete. It is the first part of that I am stuck with. I do not have a list of calendars anywhere that I can find. So where do I find this list please?

To enable the Calendar Pane and List in the Calendar tab, select the Calendar tab, use Menu (button or bar) > View > Calendar > Calendar Pane, and enable Show Calendar Pane and Calendar List.

I had looked there before posting and I suppose that is the problem. On my machine in the 'View' menu the calendar option is greyed out and therefore not available. I have no idea how to make that option usable/available.

Thank you for trying to help me.

You have to be in the Calendar tab. Menu (button or bar) > Events and Tasks > Calendar.

Ahh! Thats the secret. I have searched and searched but completly failed to see what must have been right under my nose. My excuse is that nowhere has it been explained as clearly as you have done.

Thank you very, very much. I can go to bed happy now, but before I do I will gratefully mark this post as "Solved".

Thank you again
