Against my wishes and against my better judgement, I think I'm going to have to break down and buy a computer with Win-10 Installed. Besides the headache of transferring or re-installing all my software, I'm faced with the task of getting my considerable Bookmarks transferred to my new Seamonkey install. Current Seamonkey is 2.35.
I know it is not as simply are replacing the existing bookmarks file with the old bookmarks file, but is there an import function?
So, can someone give me some insight on how to transfer my Bookmarks to a new install?
Thanks for your assistance.

Actually, it should be that easy. Try copying the file places.sqlite from the old installation to the new.I know it is not as simply are replacing the existing bookmarks file with the old bookmarks file...

All my bookmarks seem to be in a file - bookmark.html (72,444)DanRaisch wrote:Actually, it should be that easy. Try copying the file places.sqlite from the old installation to the new.I know it is not as simply are replacing the existing bookmarks file with the old bookmarks file...
However I did find three files similar to those you suggested -
places-sqlite (52.428,800)
places-sqlite-shm (32,768)
places-sqlite-wal (271,952)
Holey Cow - 54,000,000 bytes? That seem unusually large.
Do I copy all or one of these files.
Thank you for the help.

Transfer all three to be safe but the bookmarks should be in places.sqlite.

Curious, should I transfer the Bookmark file too, or will that be reconstructed from the PLACES.SQLITE database?
