Display of Search results
Every time I search for mail items I have to manually click to display in date sequence and then again to display as a list rather than as messages. Is there any way to change these defaults??

How are you initiating the search? What menu path or hotkey combination are you using?

Are you using web mail thru Firefox?
If so, which service provider? Gmail? Yahoo!Mail? Xfinity?
A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.

Or is the original question actually about Thunderbird, the email client?

Assuming it is Firefox related... isn't 'most' of that stuff retained in Cookies? ... and/or the mail service options.
As you can see she's (The CAT) always alert and on the prowl for Meoware !!
