Crash When Accessing Password Manager

Post by Balerion »

This behavior started today and I can't find any way to solve it: whenever I go into the Password Manager, Seamonkey crashes to desktop. No explanation as to what is going on. The auto-fill for passwords works on websites still, but something about actually accessing it seems to break.

I can only assume there's a corruption in one of the password-related files. Any suggestions about how I could repair such an issue?

What version of SeaMonkey?

about:crashes, last few related crash report URLs?

Any change if you restart in Safe Mode?
Fire 750, bring back 250.

 A work-around would be to install Password Exporter.

Hi there, that's an interesting suggestion.... but unfortunately it seems the add-on's now Firefox-only. Is there a way to get it to work with SeaMonkey? I recall that used to be a thing people did, but not sure if it is applicable any longer.

I'm using version 1.2.1 and it works just fine. You can view and copy all of your passwords stored on SeaMonkey.
