What happened to "Restart Browser" extension?

Post by tonymec »

I'm running SeaMonkey Trunk on Linux64, and among my extensions is "Restart Browser" 1.0.0, which provides a toolbar button, and menuitems in the File and Bookmarks menu. My add-ons manager mentions a "last update date" of 8 June 2016 for it, and AFAICR I had installed if from AMO; but today I searched AMO for it and it is nowhere to be found. (Its author, riiis, is still mentioned, but with only 2 extensions, neither of which is for my platform.) Can anyone tell me what happened to it? AFAICT it is working perfectly. Was it retired by its author (for lack of further interest) or by AMO administrators (malware having been found in it)? If the former, I can stand it, but if the latter, I will have to go back to clearing the "Restart with add-ons disabled" checkbox in the "Are you sure?" dialog for SeaMonkey's "Help → Restart with Add-ons Disabled" menuitem.
Best regards,
Tony
