Calendar issue

I have developed a strange calendar problem:
When I open my calendar it displays OK. But when I click on an item to view or edit it, it now opens only in a small window. The only option displayed is the X option to close the window (ie no option to expand the window), and the information displayed is limited - there is no information re: reminders etc displayed - only Title, start date, end date, plus the text within the window is displayed (I can edit this). This started about 10 days ago. Before that I could view and edit all information simply by clicking on an item. Now the edit options seem limited.
Is this the result of an update, or have I inadvertently changed a setting?

I am running Win 10, Latest version of Tbird (45.3.0), automatically updated.
