Probably some weird thing on my end.

Re: Opening links in browser from TB
It seems difficult to determine which may have a bug -- Firefox or Thunderbird -- but if you try the link and image in post 11 (link and imagelink) and this browser opens one in Fx and the other in Thunderbird -- I'd say it is the browser. You could test the same page in another browser to verify. If it only happens when reading email (same link and imagelink received in an email) then I would think it is Thunderbird.
If you feel Fx or Thunderbird has a bug you could report these two lines produce different results when clicked in Thunderbird. This is the results source from the link and image.

Code: Select all
<a class="postlink" href="https://www.yahoo.com/">https://www.yahoo.com/</a>
<a href="https://www.yahoo.com/" target="_blank" class="postlink"><img src="http://sr.photos1.fotosearch.com/bthumb/CSP/CSP015/k0152710.jpg" alt="Image"></a>
I often take a long windy road to my destination. Upon arrival, I wonder how I missed the shortcut.
