Why is there no bookmark management on Android devices ?

Post by jack63ss »

I have been a Firefox user since 2005, so the very first app I added to my Android tablet was Firefox Beta. But I do not understand why there is NO bookmark management, either built-in or as an add-on ? I don't consider Add/Remove or Sync a management tool. What goes on ?
Thanks

Yeah... I know... that question has been asked a number of times ... with no answer other than to use Sync... of which I do not use.... seems that it should be a simple function. And with the very recent Firefox release for Android ... I was hoping to see something add to manage bookmarks... Nope... did not happen.

You can also watch bug 1329127 and its associated children, although the plans for that are still early stage I think, so until you see some actual work happening on those bugs I wouldn't get my hope up yet.
