Trying to set up server settings for incoming mail from gmail.
I got the box to input the password and clicked to save it, but another box
now pops up about a temporary system error and to try later.
It's been a couple of days now.
Is that message generated by SeaMonkey and is it accurate?
I can't seem to get it back to the password entry box to start over...

Re: Gmail POP Inbox Trouble
Did SeaMonkey ever download messages from the server? If not, you might remove the account from SeaMonkey and set it up again.
Did you confirm that POP access was enabled in the settings on the Gmail webmail page for that account?
Are the following settings selected in SeaMonkey for that account:
Server name: pop.googlemail.com
Port : 995
User name: Full Gmail address
Connection security: SSL/TLS
Authentication method: Normal Password

Re: Gmail POP Inbox Trouble
It was the user name. The server name is pop.gmail.com as per their settings page -- the longer may work as well.
Anyhow, I'm back in business -- thanks, Dan!

Glad to hear that. You're quite welcome.
