I copied and pasted a url within SecondLife to go to a creator's store and it was replaced by DuckDuckGo.com. I did see that it changed my InternetSearch default to that so changed it back to Google. However, I cannot even type in that url for the store or DuckDuckGo takes over again.
Thanks,
Cheryl

So is it true that DuckDuckGo was incorporated as part of the Mozilla browsers? I did finally effectively get rid of it in my browser by going thru Manage Search Engines so all is well at the moment at least. But I wasn't sure if it was a virus since it took over without me asking.

Could you post the url? This sounds like a problem with SeaMonkey's detection of whether something is a real URL or not.

No, it was not "incorporated". DDG was set as default search engine. Unfortunately there is some bug when user tries to change it but it can be solved:hayley3 wrote:So is it true that DuckDuckGo was incorporated as part of the Mozilla browsers?
