Outdated "Announcement" on Firefox Support forum

Post by bawldiggle »

On Board index ‹ Mozilla Firefox ‹ Firefox Support the single Announcement "General issues Frequently Asked Questions" is very outdated (13 years old).
'LoudNoise" (moderator) has posted 3 years ago ...
This is a general FAQ dealing with issues that are not specific to the current version.
I would like to suggest the ancient "Announcement" be removed ... I just wasted about an hour wading through all the links in post#1 ... to then read post #2 by "LoudNoise"

My dumb for not seeing the date of post #1
- I would guess I am not the only newbie who has fallen into the meaningless 2004 announcement
. . . never to old to learn!

You're also missing the point that the various links in the article have been updated over time, some in 2016. The fact that the "stickied" topic was originally posted 13 years ago is immaterial to how up to date the material in the actual linked articles is.
