seamonkey 2.49 and livestreams

Post by Zerebralus »

maybe a bug or even becoming worst browser at least....

first try with seamonkey (normally my first choice) of http://www.mdr.de/mediathek/livestreams ... index.html result.... no livestream atm available :evil:

second try with latest opera Browser... same URL and surprise surprise.... Livestream is starting and even available

therefore I still use atm Opera as my default browser...

well... Posting can be closed cause it's no bug in the browser...

No Flash installed. Fresh Windows x64 2.49 compiled with a few changes not yet in the offical tree but unrelated to html5. Worked out of the box after enabling scripts for wdr.de in noscript.

I saw "cross-domain" warnings:

Code: Select all

Overriding failed (2147500037) redirect callback for 12: http://livetvsachsen.mdr.de/crossdomain.xml -> http://livetvsachsen.mdr.de/crossdomain.xml - 2

Overriding failed (2147500037) redirect callback for 12: http://players.edgesuite.net/crossdomain.xml -> http://players.edgesuite.net/crossdomain.xml - 2
I got no playback, but I'm on XP too, if that matters & in the US.
frg is in DE, pretty sure.

Just for completeness, I tried this with [the Adrian build of] Windows x64 2.50 BETA - works fine AFAICT, I only had to allow two .de domains in NoScript.
