Is there any way to have the URL bar on the bottom of the screen with Firefox Mobile?
Makes more sense because I don't have to keep moving my finger all the way up the screen to type in a URL to go to.

That is for desktop Firefox only as the Extensions for Android Firefox are at https://addons.mozilla.org/android/Happy112 wrote:Hi JohnB_XP !

The add-on I mentioned works with Firefox, Firefox Mobile, Seamonkey and Thunderbird, according to the Add-ons Frequently Asked Questions page ...... But I'm probably missing something, in which case I appologize.

Re: URL Bar on the bottom?
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addo ... /versions/
Works with Firefox 13.0 and later
It would mention "Firefox for Android" if the author has made the Extension to work on Android version also.
For example the author of uBlock Origin extension has made it for multiple products.
https://addons.mozilla.org/android/addo ... /versions/
Works with Firefox for Android 27.0 - *, Firefox 24.0 and later, SeaMonkey 2.24 and later, Thunderbird 31.0 and later
Besides the Bottom-ui extension is depreciated and replaced by "Toolbar Position Changer" extension according to https://github.com/tumpio/bottomui though it is still only for desktop Firefox.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addo ... n-changer/
Works with Firefox 43.0 and later

Re: URL Bar on the bottom?
The only thing that's important (to me, anyway) is to give the OP (JohnB_XP) an answer to his question :
" Is there any way to have the URL bar on the bottom of the screen with Firefox Mobile? "
And maybe an add-on doesn't have to be the only way ...... (?)

Re: URL Bar on the bottom?
Next morning (for me) :
James, you are right : I just checked that add-on's review, and this is one of them :
" thanks, its awesome, would you please create this add-on for firefox android ? "
My sincere appologies !
Tried to find another way to do this (using Firefox) - to no avail.
But I did find this (sure wish it was 'the fox' !) :
