I can easily disable Bitdefender on desktop and Avira on laptop and see what difference it makes.
However, I'll admit to not knowing enough to say that disabling sufficient to at least get an idea about their effect on browser persformance. As opposed to completely uninstalling.

(Actually its not. It's the changes more so then the vulnerability fixes.)

I have tried disabling bitfender. Didn't seem to affect page loading differences. also created a new profile for firefox. Again, on average, firefox is slower than palemoon and chrome. In no cases was it faster.
I guess that is just the way it is built.
