What have you used to change the tab width and / or tab Font size... Maybe CTR ?

The last few characters of shortened tab titles fade out instead of being replaced by ellipses to keep more of the title visible.

You either have an extension or a theme that is doing that.
Test in safe mode. On the menu bar, click the Help menu and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.... Firefox will start up with the Firefox Safe Mode dialog. Click continue in Safe Mode and don't check any items.

Though I get less wording in my tabs compared to RobertJ' pic... (probably one of my extensions... no big deal) but sensitive ....you hardly show anything in that first post... looks like you've messed with some stuff.... so, you need to test it out in safe-mode as has been mentioned... and BTW ... my test profile with no tab related extensions or changes, displays much more of the title.RobertJ wrote:.
