WTF, With today's nightly (2017-04-22) the sidebar is on the right ?!?
Move sidebar to the right edge of the window

What's the point of this ? Just change in order to be seen as "trendsetting" and "original" ? [-(

Hardly 'trendsetting' or 'original' both IE11 and Edge have the sidebar on the right side.... :-"

Really sad they moved it though, its been on the left since the beginning..

Actually I think it makes sense. When it was on the left it would move the page to the right. Since most of his read left to write the shift to the right was a bit annoying. Now with the sidebar on the right the left side of the page doesn't move. Yes the right side moves but our eyes are usually trained on the left side of the page.

Just think about the damage this change does to mother Earth, the millions of screens and laptops to be moved on desks, all those people vacuuming while doing so, horrible, just plain horrible.

The right side sidebar is a ridiculous decision.

Another example of a totally valueless and unnecessary change. What would be of value is providing users the choice of which side they want their sidebar on, but that would be too smart for them to do, wouldn't it?

People getting used to just move the mouse to the right and that's it now can start throwing darts in order to get a lucky shot. =D>

Let's get rid of the scrollbar, who still uses a scrollbar anno 2017 ?

Good, no need to use an extension or (one line!) of code to move it to the right...on installing it's first thing I've done for years.
I imagine I'm not the only left handed mouser who does this .
@I use Rocket Dock, (on auto hide) on the left.
More to the point why isn't it a MOVABLE L/R/ R/L option !? :-k ....even a 'Chrome clone' offers this.

People look for, and even expect, navigation there

Traditionally, sidebars do belong on the left.

I was surprised when I found out you need to install Tab Mix Plus, Vertical Tabs, FireGestures and QuickNote in order to get functionality Vivaldi provides out of the box.
