Set up new gmail account in Thunderbird.
It is not possible to configure gmail account in Thunderbird the buttons are not working, in the Thunderbird release popup.

To what buttons are you referring?
Have you already created the Gmail account on Google's web pages?
Are you using Thunderbird menu path File->New->Existing Mail Account to initiate the new account addition?

Hello, thanks for the help, this error in the button next to the login page of google I managed to log in with thunderbird-55.0a1 that is available at that address.
