The browser seems painfully slow today.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0 ID:20170501133120

At first I thought it was this page:
https://blog.nightly.mozilla.org/

But even with the above page closed, it is now slow. It did not act this slow in the previous beta version. It pauses on every couple letters I type.

Windows is VERY quick and responsive still.

Yeah, I also got new animation. The question is: bug or feature? I guess that's a feature :-"

It's a regression from Bug 1347543 - Use SVGs instead of PNGs for toolbar button icons

I was thinking it's a new animation... #-o
Probably and thankfully it's just the bug - Bug 1362100 - Width of the bookmark toolbar widget shrinks during animation of star

Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.

I can't say I've noted any slow-down here, win10 x64 and win32 m-c builds.

2 addons only
container tabs turned-off
ipc setting at 20 tabs..

So maybe turning it OFF will give them some idea how much they are ruining it

The heck of it is that the developers only want what they want, but don't seem to understand that it is not about what they want. It is supposed to be what we, the users want! If they did want to provide the users what the users want, they would have set up the system add-ons to be disabled, even uninstalled by the users rather than cramming them down the users' throats.
