You mean content only? Because text rendering of the GUI is broken since march (for me): https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1360933Omega X wrote:Is it my imagination or did font sharpness change? Or did Google change its fonts around again?

I tried three times(with e10s x2, without e10s x1), but I could not reproduce the problem....Peja Stija wrote:Well, suddenly playback stops, and the pause & resume buttons ain't doing anything. Only way out is refresh and restart from beginning.Alice0775 wrote:Peja Stija wrote:* Time consuming to replicate.
Latest nightly seem to abruptly break (larger) mp3 files playback.
Example : https://mp3s.nashownotes.com/NA-927-201 ... -Final.mp3
Seems to break every time I play it, sometimes after some hour+, sometimes after some 2 hours+
Using the console, I could only see the first part is being downloaded upon loading the page, so I don't think this has anything to do with yesterday's #1362821 fix.
(EDIT: Seems like a buffering issue)
What does "break" mean?
But I suspect it might be a site-specific issue, buffering.
The audio was played uninterrupted until the end.

Since Fx is going to be like Google Chrome as far as extensions go I decided for the first time in my life to install Chrome (v59 beta) to see what they offer in the way of extensions. Extensions aside I find Chrome slower than Fx. I also find getting to Google options and the like was harder than it is with Fx. I guess it's possible Fx will go the same way particularly no more about:config.
Back to extensions. I thought that extensions that modified context menus wasn't allowed. In Chrome there is an extension that allows me to assign any icon to my bookmark sites as it's favicon. I thought this wasn't allowed.

I didn't see what that had to do with the speed improvement, but then realized it might be an answer to the "Gecko" question. I have no idea what all that means, though. Can you translate to English?mozian wrote:https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=591537DN123ABC wrote:My post from 5/4:

(Why is "Gecko" still on 2010? I'd think there would be something newer there...)
Thanks.

Anyone know why windows m-c builds of late are failing after hanging non-complete for hours at a time ? I don't do IRC anymore or I'd ask in Builds...

Chrome has about:flags, which is kind of similar

I'm not impressed with Chrome. It's missing some nice features that are in Fx. Like a drop down location bar menu of sites you've been to. I hope Mozilla doesn't make it a 100% look alike for Chrome and gets rid of it's nice touches. I even like Fx's separate search box which Chrome doesn't have.

I don't like Chrome either. Have you tried Microsoft Edge?

Can we keep all the off topic other browser stuff out of the nightly build thread please
