Malwarebytes has released version 3.1.2 which can be dowloaded from https://www.malwarebytes.com/
I've always used their own removal tool to facilitate uninstalling the previous version and in the past I've had to copy/paste my registration details manually. The procedure to install the latest version has been automated now however and the removal tool poses the question as to whether users want to download and install the latest version after removing the old one.
Assuming the user answers "Yes", the tool downloads, installs and reactivates the user's registration details without the need to enter those separately which is much more efficient.
