LastPass broken some more. V4.1.53a still has problems.

If anyone wants to give the new version of LastPass that works on Nightly a try, PM me for the link on my OneDrive. I would install it from the Add-Ons page in Fx. I did it this way and had no problems installing it. Let me know if you find any problems that isn't in the current version. I know that "Show Matching Sites in top level menu" hasn't worked in quite a while on many previous versions. Also 'Show Matching Sites Count in Toolbar' doesn't work for me but TBH I haven't turned this on in a very long time so maybe it was also broken in previous versions.

You can fix this by going into the LP install.rdf file and changing the version number to this '<em:version>5.0.0</em:version>' The update process will think you have a higher version of LP so it will not update. If they publish the version of LP we have we won't get it if the version number they choose is 5 or less so you have to be on the lookout for it. BTW... They are working on a Webextensions version of LP.

Just got 4.1.53a, which seems to have the fix!

While v4.1.53a fixes all the problems I mentioned it also produces a few more problems. When I click on the LP icon and from the menu select ‘Sites’ and ‘Show Matching Sites’ I am presented with an empty box. I let LP know about these problems. I am sticking with what I was given before.

I wasn't told not to distribute it but I thought it was a good idea not to make it publicly available. This is borne out by the fact that the successor to the internal version has it's own problems.
