Bookmarks Question

Post by AccessShell »

I am new Firefox. I have been able to get on the top of the page a line which reads "Most Visited", and "Getting Started". How do I
1. Put on this line the actual bookmarks I have in the several folders,
2. Eliminate the 2 entries that are already on the line.

Thanks

"Most Visited" and "Getting Started" are sitting on the Bookmarks Toolbar when Firefox is first installed; they can be moved elsewhere or deleted if you so wish.

"Getting Started" is a supplied bookmark to this page - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ge ... n-features

"Most Visited" is a "smart folder" which is an internal calculation & display of your most used bookmarks. The actual bookmarks that you saved are in other locations; the "Other Bookmarks" folder by default or the folder you saved the bookmark into originally. Also there is "Recent Bookmarks" which is a "smart folder", too; it contains the 10 most recently saved bookmarks.

Ctrl + B opens the Bookmarks Sidebar and Ctrl + Shft + B opens the Library window which contains bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads history. The Bookmarks Toolbar folder is where those two bookmarks are located by default.

.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.

Here's the KB article on Bookmarks that will explain a few more functions/features.
