It's English, but the Australian variant...if it makes any difference. Let's get this back on track and lose the snarky asides.

I'm SO FREAKEN GLAD ... That I'm Not The Only One !!!
.
First Off.. I know CableOne Internet has been upgrading ALL Their Lines across the USA
and Each Area their upgrading at that time has issues.
Unfortunately both my Home ISP & my Cel ISP (obviously going through CableOne)
Myself & Coworkers with the same ISP & Cel has had the same issues and CableOne confirms it.
.
BUT.. My Home & Cel works FINE Now.. but this week my Firefox has been Freezing up on my
Windows PC & Laptop Mac firefox browsers have the SAME Sluggish, Freezing Up issues.
My Mac.. when I close Firefox.. there's a black firefox shadow that stays a few seconds then goes away.
.
I've uninstalled, booted, reinstalled.. No help. I even turned off my Modem, router, PC & Laptop overnight
No Help.
.
So this is a Mozilla Problem.
Note: Internet Exp, Safari, and Chrome works ~PERFECT~ !! !! !!
.
Let me Recap That...
........................ IE, Safari, and GOOGLE Chrome works ~ ~ Perfect ~ ~ !!! !!! !!!
..
....................... And MOZILLA FIRE -- FOX ... ... ..NOT !!!!!!!!!!!
.
Understand ??
.
..... So when will Mozilla Fix This ????

Maybe, maybe not.

No Help.
Unless you didn't mention another, necessary step in the process, uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't touch the Firefox profile and many such problems can stem from elements in the profile: User changed settings, installed extensions, etc.
Have you tried starting Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
If no improvement using Safe Mode, do you have the same problem if you create a new profile and test it with no extensions or non-default themes installed?

Oh, and just so things are clear here, we're not Mozilla. This forum is not run by or formally associated with Mozilla. We're an independent user-helping-user community.
