Does anyone know what broke Stylish? (Some time after 2017-05-17)
Creating and editing new styles is not possible anymore.

Are you sure you're using the latest nightly, I had the same problem up until a few nightlies ago, but all seems fine now.

Yep. But it seems it depens on what tabs are open whether stylish's editor works. Rather odd.

I think it's probably about time to get rid of those add-ons that will no longer work on FF57+. I made the switch and quite frankly it was relatively painless. Lots of FF57+ extensions are making their appearance, albeit some are crap, but it's is bound to improve. I was looking at some Chrome extensions and found some that I didn't think were possible. In particular one that allowed me, under Chrome, to change the favicons of my bookmark sites. Hopefully Fx57+ will also allow an extension like this one.

I personally like where Photon is going and the other performance stuff to come. Once Fx57 hits going to Chrome is at the least like staying on Fx57+. My 2 cents

Being as it's doubtful there are any mind readers or psychics here, send him an email (info at downthemall.net) or make a lunch date, I'm sure he'd love to hear from you....

DownThemAll! *nightly* builds are more bugged than DownThemAll! stable builds, especially it's very visible using them on Mozilla Firefox Nightly.
Trunk and branch DownThemAll! Nightly builds are created automatically every day, same like it's with Mozilla Firefox Nightly builds.

Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.

I did that too and it was quite a relieve. No more worries about breaking addons, which will happen a lot in the coming weeks, only to see them gone with 57 anyway. Staying on an old version of Firefox is no option for me, I value the improvements more than my addons.

I'm still alive and as a bonus Firefox is faster than ever.

I see. Though I don't use about:home at all, I guess other pages might be interfering too.

Good for you... I have by last count, 77 addons enabled of which only three are not labeled "legacy".

Which one is that? Can you link it? I had something like that for FF (Bookmark Favicon Changer), but sadly it broke. And it's needed the most nowadays, since they mucked up favicon functionality when they moved their storage to a separated database. (many missing, or wrong favicons...)

Did you try installing it in firefox (with Chrome Store Foxified). If I understand correctly webext copies the crome extension api completely (Or will when it's finished) so anything that works on Chrome should work on FF too

Yeah, DTA is impossible on webextensions. So it certainly won't be ported.
Annoyingly DTA nightly updates are created automatically every they even if there wasn't an update for months... Super spammy.

@avada..

There appears to be three favicons extensions over at the Chrome Store. I tried the one that has the picture of a big green star. It worked perfectly under Chrome. Yes I "Foxified" it but while the icon showed up on Fx55 as well as it's menu it failed to change my icons. Fx55 uses 'favicon.sqlite' while Chrome uses just 'favicons' (It's still sqlite) as their DB's. I made a copy of 'favicons.sqlite' and changed it to just 'favicons'. No luck. Using an Sqlite DB reader there are differences in the two DB's. Names are different also. Probably at least one reason Foxifying it doesn't work. But the point is it changes the chrome on Google Chrome. Hopefully the same sort of add-on will work on Fx57+.

Why the heck do you need 77 add-ons? I know it's easy to get carried away with add-ons on Fx but do you really need all of them? Either you'll have to hope for Devs to convert them to WE or live without them. Can't imagine any other browser having all 77 add-ons if you decide to go with another browser. If anyone is sticking with Fx I say now is the time to wean yourself off of legacy add-ons.
