"how likely are you to recommend mozilla firefox web browser to a friend or colleague?"

the above text "pop-up" appeared, outside browser-page, while reading content on a non-mozilla forum. the forum does not utilize pop-ups outside browser-page … the forum also does not sanction bs ads (such as this is). is this "alert" part of firefox? would the alert be part of "enable firefox health report" … in preferences/advanced/data-choices/options? (my "fhr" is enabled and telemetry is disabled.)

Image
looking at the image above … notice how the frame is outside the browser-page.

my environment:
    windows-10 (home) 64bit (1607-14393.1198)
    firefox (53.0.3 (64-bit))
this appeared half-hour ago for the first time … didn't think to minimize web-browser to see if the pop-up was part of win-10 notorious adv-schemes. also, microsoft settings (settings/system/notifications) are such that mozilla is not part of the "notifications" league. take note, i also utilize and update several security sentries.

has anyone else noticed the above intrusion?

Firefox is definitely set up to show such survey questions to users, whenever and however the folks at Mozilla decide. It is NOT an ad.
I don't see the point, though, if there's no way to answer that silly question (unless your screen shot isn't showing that part).

@gnarlyone :
What is shown in your screenshot doesn't look anything like a Mozilla pop-up, nor does it look like this :

Would you consider posting a question about this on the Microsoft support forum :

I have it too. It's not from FF or MS but from Photobucket. I have all my photos and cartoons on photobucket, and it was always free. Now they want money to do 3rd-party photohosting. You have to look at their 3 plans and choose if you want one. If you don't want to embed your photos on forums, copying the URL is still free. PM me if you need any help.

Like this:

But we could never embed here anyway

(@L, when this thread was started, the image in the OP was valid. Now that photobucket-gate has hit us, well, you see what we [now] get.)

You're right, now I remember. PhotoBucketGate just happened a few days ago.

PB is also one of the slowest sites on the web, and broke down completely a few times. But I have to wait till they say you can't copy URL's. I have maybe a hundred photos and my entire cartoon collection there.

This also doesn't explain "How likely are you to recommend mozilla firefox web browser to a friend or colleague?" @gnarlyone--did you ever find a solution to that? I have FF almost from the beginning and I've never seen it.

Easy to get around it, download from your PB Library and use another image posting site that's not into blackmail...
Conveniently if one downloads the whole Library, Videos and GIF's are not included
