It's also pretty tough how Peter Kasting destroys Mozilla's reasoning in the comments there:

I'm not sure. I did a rough anecdotal test and Firefox does seem to use less when you don't count anything else but the 4 content processes.

Bug, str:
Create new Nightly profile, right click on tab bar - Customize - drag Sidebar icon to the left of the left arrow, exit customize mode
Left click on sidebar icon, close the sidebar by clicking on close button
Close Nightly
Launch Nightly

AR: Wrong sidebar icon: the one displayed on mouse hover
ER: Sidebar icon without mouse hover

Known bug?

OK, thanks.

Looks like a whole bunch of redundant hashtable lookup's have been removed in recent commits - I wonder what this will do for performance. It looks like these were mostly made possible thanks to bug 1371094 being fixed.
Cheers!

Hi!

I have a feature in the tab's context menu in v55 beta. That would be something like "send tab to device" in english. Where I see my phone in a sub-menu.

Now I want this in the opposite direction. So is it available in FF for Android? If yes, where/how can I get the beta version?

Got an update.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 ID:20170612224034

Now, all but one of my extensions have "Legacy" in yellow next to them; and many have "(Extension Name Here) could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled."

Are the extension makers going to be updating these over time?

Only extension developers know the answer... ;)
So = yes, no, maybe, depends, etc.

Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.

Use the share button and share the tab to firefox, it'll prompt you to send it to a device.

Firefox doesn't appear there. I guess it's because I have automatic synchronization disabled in the android seettings. (Stupidly I can only en/disable it for everything and not one-by-one. Mozilla shouldn't have relied on this infrastructure...)
