FF problems with asp(x).net sites

Post by rypz79 »

HI,

In this site http://www.sport5.co.il/articles.aspx?F ... 22&lang=HE
I cannot enter comments (pictures attached, marked in red, see the difference between FF and MS Edge)
And the page is on a loading mode lag the message "waiting for g-static.gdn" finishing after 3-4 minutes

In this site http://www.eurobasket.com/ it never finishes loading "transferring data eurobasket.com"...

User-agent switcher doesn't help.
Reseting firefox doesn't help (it's not an extension problem).
Any suggestions?

Thanks
Roey

Both of those sites load fine for me using FF54; the first one takes somewhat longer. As far as entering comments in the first site I can't read the language.

I ran the sites through a HTML validator which resulted in 285 Errors for the second site. The most glaring error is the lack of a DOCTYPE which tells the browser how to parse the page.

The first site has 1139 Errors.

In short the coding of these sites was done by total amateurs. The owners of these sites should hire someone that knows what they are doing.

Definitely Agree...Bad programming / obsolete infrastructure leads to bad user experience.
Anyhow I am wondering in the first link/site if you go to the buttom of the page do you get any handle (thumbs up or down for other comments)? when you press the first comment box (first empty box) do you get the dialog as seen in 2nd picture?

Thank you very much RobertJ

I was able to enter a comment using FF54 and the box looked like your image of MS Edge with the editing buttons.
