Post by eagleeye03 »

I set up thunderbird to function as an autoresponder and it works good except for the subject line that gets sent out to people......

the subject line looks like this......... Auto: "subject"

I don't know. The FiltaQuilla add-on supports "Prepend/Suffix to Subject". You might try adding several backspaces as the prefix to delete "Auto:" or use the "Javascript Action" to set the Subject. You'd have to experiment. For example, the Allow Empty Subject or the Send Without Subject add-on might disable the Auto: prefix (since the Subject is not set yet when that code runs) and then you could rely upon the "Javascript Action" from the FiltaQuilla add-on to set it .

Has anyone found a way to remove the prefix?
