For me the last really working version is 3.1.7. All newer Versions not work how the should.
For example it is not possible to scroll in Panel windows, with versions newer then 3.1.7 .
With 3.1.7 it works perfect. I reverted back to version 3.1.7 and hope that it will be fixed in a newer version.
Cheers

Rebooted, updated to Fx 44.0.1 today, and YASS seems to be functioning again, from the start, without delay.

I can't speak of the other issues, since I'm not on a trackpad, but at least it doesn't take a while to "wake up" as before.

Fingers crossed it will hold.

Hi.
Will this add-on survive the transition to webextension?
I hope it.
Cheers

YASS is available for Chrome so most likely yes.

Is there even a point to this addon these days?
You can customize smooth scrolling by adjusting built in general.smoothscroll.* settings.

YASS supports accelerative scrolling. That means the amount of scrolled lines per click depends on the speed of the mouse wheel. In other words, scrolling mouse wheel slowly = 1 line per click, scrolling mouse wheel quickly = 10 lines per click. Very convenient when scrolling long pages :-"

Gah... Mousewheel scrolling is horrible for long distances. I always use autoscrolling or sometimes the scrollbar.
