Hi,
what is the best way to troubleshoot add-on issues?
My FF is slow like hell and I know it is due to one or more add-ons or incompatibilities between some.
Deactivating them one by one would be too much work because they are over 40.
Thanks and regards,
Hyper

Re: Troubleshooting Addon issues
Try disabling half of the extensions and then close and restart the program. (Disable them by using menu path Tools->Addons->Extensions->click on "Disable" for every extension but one.) See if the problem is present. If not, enable half of the disabled extensions and close and restart the application. Repeat this procedure until the problem reappears. The last enabled extension will be the cause of the problem.

I hoped not to having to do a click orgy.
Thanks! I'll have a look.

40 extensions will mean:
- 20+10+5+3+2+1 minimal
- 20+20+20+10+10+10+5+5+5+3+3+3+1+1+1 maximal (off, wrong, on again, other off)
- 20+10+5+3+2+1 minimal
- 20+20+20+10+10+10+5+5+5+3+3+3+1+1+1 maximal (off, wrong, on again, other off)

Re: Troubleshooting Addon issues
Did you verify that the issue is gone with all extensions disabled since this can also be caused by hardware acceleration and possibly the multi-process feature?
