Is this normal behavior (and/or reproducible) ?

STR:

- Make sure the clipboard is empty.
- Right-clicking an input-box on websites doesn't dim the "Paste" option, while it properly does in browser url- & searchbox.

Ctrl-Shift-B, select 50 bookmarks and press delete. They will be slowly removed one after another. Bookmarks were deleted instantly some time ago. Bug or feature?

Also, another important bit of Project Dom (aka Jank killer) is about to land in Nightly: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1351148
This patch puts input events (mouse, keyboard input) in a higher queue. More info here:
https://ehsanakhgari.org/blog/2017-06-0 ... sletter-11
The basic idea is that we want to process events with a different order depending on their type, but we don’t want to change the respective ordering of the events of the same type. This will allow Gecko to serve requests to paint pages and handle user input events first, and then process other things like scripts, DOM events, timer callbacks, network events, etc., and finally when there is no other immediate work of higher priority to be done, low priority work such as garbage and cycle collection and idle callbacks are run. This is now mostly finished (except for high priority input events), and we have already started porting a few things to run as idle callbacks!
Sorry for my poor English.

@ GHM113 - I can confirm this and I reported it here - Bug 1382966 - Speed and performance of deleting bookmarks is terrible and awful after landing patches from bug #1071513

@ Alice0775 - Let's hope that it's not by design [-o<

Please keep reporting any differences of behavior in creating/editing/removing bookmarks, that's useful. We'll first try to make things work correctly (no dataloss or misbehaviors) and remove all the dead code, then concentrate on speed. I think we can reach parity (or better) in speed with the old API, but it needs work to reintroduce the concept of batch operations.

Don't worry about that, we will "whine" about even least and smallest regression. ;)

Is it intentional the new startpage ignores browser.newtabpage.columns/rows?

See http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=3031864, I'd like to know that answer as well. I've not had time to file a bug.
