Hey guys...

What's up with this TreeCrusher stuff? I first noticed that inbounds weren't being updated or at the least not as often as before. Thanks to some posts here I learned about the TC releases and started using them in place of inbound. Based on the inbound shortlog they appear to be inbounds. Is TC the new way to get to inbound now? I suspect this TC stuff might be a whole new way of getting all updates. Inquiring minds want to know.

I'd be interested in that too. I noticed earlier that the tinderbox builds (e.g. autoland and inbound) don't seem to be building things at the moment. Do you happen to know where these builds are being pushed too?

The only reason I noticed this is that I'm building a "build downloader tool" and just happened to notice that most if not all of the recent build folders up on there contained no browser build zip file.
Cheers!

Could be. Maybe someone will chime in with the correct answer.

There is a separate tree for m-i (inbound) Still have to use the (tc) task-cluster though, I think the ftp's we have used for years are no longer being used.
Getting the builds from 'tc' is not as easy as reading through the builds on the ftp however IMO. They want more testers but this new method would discourage most folks I would think..

Thanks for the m-i link. The problem with treeherder is that the various build are often still being built. You have to figure out which one is the latest that has been built already. The old way if the build showed up you knew it was already fully built. Yes, I too feel this new way is more complicated. Who would know to click on TC and then B or S and then to download the right file from a list of many files.

Ugh. Do you think it's worth filling a bug on this? I agree that it's going to make pulling builds for testing that much more difficult.
Cheers!

Not been following stylo to close - is it already 'on' in Nightly builds or is there a pref to flip ?
