Be aware for those upgrading to 56.0b1, there's a new sessionstore format (jsonlz4) that takes precedence over the old format (json) (Bug 934967). So if ever used your beta profile in Nightly recently (generally a bad idea), it may have generated these jsonlz4 session files and on upgrade to 56.0b1 these will load instead of your most recent session. To get it to load from your more recent sessionstore.json you need to delete sessionstore.jsonlz4, recovery.jsonlz4 & previous.jsonlz4.

Seems like some bugs must have landed for webrender, scrolling is really smooth on forums (such as MDL) in the latest inbound build.

This sounds really "bad" for legacy addons https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1350646

Interesting. Let's see how many addons will break after this bug lands.
Sorry for my poor English.

Sounds good. Webrender development is slow moving.

Hi!

Can anyone confirm thatColor That Site! addon isn't functioning when the page is opened from gmail. And it won't function for that tab (content process?). If I load the same url in a different tab manually the colors are changed normally.

I think it's likely that it's because of the redirect you get when you open links from gmail. Which sound awfully similar. The wretched Bug 1319111 (Expose result principal URL ("final channel URL") on LoadInfo, convert current consumers of LOAD_REPLACE) which was backed out at least five times caused issues with redirects.

Addon SDK only means the jetpack extensions, doesn't it? (Not that I expect other legacy addons to remain alive for much longer)

I don't know. All I do know that enough 'important stuff' is being changed that a lot of 'other stuff' will stop working.

I don't know how bad it sounds for Legacy extensions. Since the bug doesn't remove anything until after Legacy extensions are no longer supported.
They should be our first priority for removal after legacy add-on support is removed.

From the last thread:
FYI looks like there is no bug covering bookmarks toolbar height for all density options, so I filed a bug for this https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1388794
To add to this I also filed a bug to optimize the Bookmarks toolbar menus and Sidebar for touch - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1389094

I did the math... it's 27k+ lines of code removed  wonder how much lighter this makes FF.

Good, but I'm not sure if there is any Mockup or specs for this area for Touch UI.
Anyway if you can change the Component to Theme and put [photon-visual][triage] to the Whiteboard in the bug.
