Previous versions of SM allowed me to paste a web address or link, select it, and use CTRL L to open the 'create a link' dialog.
The sequence was,
copy the link from the address bar of a web page,
toggle to the email being composed,
hit CTRL V,
hit CTRL SHIFT HOME to select the link,
then hit CTRL L.
This seems to have disappeared in 2.48. Now I need to take my hands from the keyboard and use the mouse to open the dialog and select the link option
Did I make a change in installing this latest version or is this a 'feature' the permanently replaces the keystroke equivalent?

Re: Insert Link - Keyboard Shortcut - CTRL L
Thank you, Rube,
I tried it. It works just like CTRL-L used to work.
All I need to do is develop a new habit, not easy for a 77, but possible.
Does CTRL-L do something else?
