Time for this thread to be moved to AfterDark, I think, as Grumpus suggested....with no 'Moved Topic' arrow.

Outright Loonie Alert. That thread is now going to need a bit more than splitting posts to Locked, I reckon?

And I moved them both to locked. The gay bashng and neo-nazi garbage in the one was disgusting and the other was all based on "news" from conspracy websites (read some of the comments in the articles).

Excuse me, but why were my posts removed from their thread sand put in the same wastebin with neo-Nazis, white supremacists, birthers, tinfoil-hat-wearers, end-of-the-worlders, and the like? There was nothing inflammatory, inappropriate, or insane about either of these posts.

This was not "evangelism". I think people who use Red Cats theme would like to know that if they want to continue to use their theme, they can. That's all it is about. The thread is the support thread for Red Cats theme, so it was not off topic.

I would be grateful if you could explain this to me. This seems really heavy handed. I am not trying to cause trouble, I want to understand what is going on here, because I am beginning to feel really unwelcome here. Thanks.

Perhaps they would, but for the thread that post was split from the comment was off topic. No one was talking about Red Cats themes there or anything even close to that.
