Yep, but Quantum DOM scheduler is disabled by default. You can enable it using the following prefs:

+pref("dom.ipc.scheduler", false);
+pref("dom.ipc.scheduler.useMultipleQueues", false);
+pref("dom.ipc.scheduler.preemption", false);
+pref("dom.ipc.scheduler.threadCount", 2);
+pref("dom.ipc.scheduler.chaoticScheduling", false);

I got no idea why it is preffed off, will try to enable it after my Nightly updates.
Sorry for my poor English.

Anyone using a dark theme for their web pages see a white blank page before the dark themed page displays?

It doesn't happen on all pages.

It looks like Quantum DOM scheduler is not ready for prime time, dom.ipc.scheduler true leads to lots of hangs and crashes. Also, it looks like high priority input events are now activated by input_event_queue.supported true.

Anyone know how to adjust the tab bar scrolling characteristics. I know if was changed a few months back but it's back again where the scrolling is slower and has less momentum with lots of tabs.

Pref: input_event_queue.supportedis still false here, and false in a new clean profile

Thanks for responding!

The issue is present on older versions of Firefox as well but I had got around that by using CSS:

In a stylesheet for "chrome", I had:

Code: Select all

@namespace xul url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul);

@-moz-document url(chrome://browser/content/browser.xul){
browser, browser.display.background_color, tabbrowser tabpanels { background: #050508 !important}  /*prevent white flash; also set "about:blank" to same*/
And in a stylesheet for "content", I had:

Code: Select all

@-moz-document url(about:blank) {
* { background: #050508 !important; }
}
I'm guessing that such code won't be of use in Firefox 57?

Yes, it's false but it looks like about:config entry has changed: prioritized_input_events.enabled was removed in favor of input_event_queue.supported.

What is an add on dev build?

I only know of Release, Beta, Developer Edition and Nightly.

Beta and Developer Edition are now released at the same time.
