Thunderbird 52.3.0 installed today

Saw nothing about it here.

Any ideas what changed?

I get this on my screen with a grey color when it started back up:

"This domain is expired. For renewal instructions please click here."

I believe under Help there is a What's New link that should take the user to the Release Notes
Linux Desktop - AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 455 3.3GHz | 8.0GB RAM | GeForce GT 630
Windows Notebook - AMD A8 7410 2.2GHz | 6.0GB RAM | AMD Radeon R5

52.3.0 Release Notes: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbi ... easenotes/

Sounds like the home page you are connecting to has let its domain name registration lapse.

I don't have a "home page" in Thunderbird, just whatever the program has assigned.

The bigger question is, how come not even a peep or mention of this pending, now installed, update anywhere on Mozillazine, or anywhere else for that matter?

Maybe because, per the release notes, it's just a bug fix release and not anything worth writing home about?

Yeah, but for those of us who still use Thunderbird, ANYTHING is better than nothing!

Unless you were having a problem fixed via 52.3.0, it's a non-issue.

The Tb 52 like past Thunderd Releases in long while since Tb 17 is getting minor updates in ESR fashion as in for security and allowed stability fixes. The next time new features comes will be in next major Release. https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/

Anyways the Thunderbird Builds section you posted this in originally is for development builds that is not Release.
