From the last topic:
sciguyryan wrote:Looks like a huge changeset has just landed for bug 1290481 (Implement mitigations for opaque response storage in the DOM cache). It's one of the largest I've seen in quite a while.

Does someone have a TL;DR on what the bug is meant to achieve?
Giving the exact size of storage used is a security problem, so the estimate() function is being changed so it can't be used to obtain the exact size.

Unfortunately the chosen approach requires a deep change to the internal data structures. I suspect the size of the fix is due to that change.

Interesting, thanks. So it's a security mitigation change? Good to know.
Cheers!

There is a bug with the name of secure connection in URL bar. Unfortunately I do not have STR yet as it seems to be visible only in certain conditions.

Anyone notice extensions not working on pages loaded when launching Nightly? Ublock (Origin) for example. Gotta refresh the page for it to work again.

Could somebody confirm that for the first page load in a browsing session, the 'reload button changing to stop button' animation has a momentary stage when neither icon is visible, which causes the address bar to increase in length and jump left.

I can reproduce reliably (for first page load in a session only) on 57.0a1 (2017-09-07) (32-bit), Windows 10.

I've just reproduced this bug in Nightly 07-09-17 x64.
Sorry for my poor English.

Progress on Bug 260611 - leave bookmarks menu open when I middle click or ctrl click a bookmark https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=260611
There is now a try build that seems to work fine (only had a quick look). Fingers crossed for this to hit nightly soon.
New preference browser.bookmarks.openInNewTabClosesMenu in the try build.

Private Browsing Indicator (purple rectangle on top right before minimize button) on dark theme is missing?

STR:

1. enable dark theme
2. open new private window

there's no pb indicator.
