history sidebar button [Mac]

Post by Negativeions »

Is there a way to add a history sidebar button on the toolbar for firefox? (not panel) In userchrome or with a WX compatible add-on or something? Im so used to the button being a sidebar with CTR (among other things) but obviously it's dead now, not WX compatible.

CTR should still work in current Firefox releases until Firefox 57, so why aren't you using this extension?

Firefox comes with a Sidebars button (Show sidebars) in the Customize palette that opens a drop-down list of all available lists that can open in the sidebar (same as what you see in View > Sidebar).
It is not as convenient as a button that opens the history sidebar directly, but you can consider this as a workaround.

am trying to get ready for 57 by working with WX compatible addons and work-arounds. I am aware of the sidebars button, thanks. I like to have a direct history sidebar button. Thanks anyways.
