Is there anything I can do to bypass Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP when opening a web page ? Looks like Firefox removed support for something.

@Edds: Nightly recently disabled 3DES support. You can still enable it via `security.ssl3.rsa_des_ede3_sha`, but it will be removed completely sooner or later. Check the site at ssllabs to see which ciphers the web page offers.
You can contact the server administrator directly or report the issue to Mozilla like it has been done for other pages (filed under Tech Evangelism) so they may be able to reach out / use their contacts.

Something weird is going on with my bookmarks toolbar. Just noticed that when it's full of bookmarks it becomes taller. If I remove a bookmark and not using the entire width it's more narrow. If you know what I mean.

EDIT:Can be related to bug 1389496 (Slow getHost method in Page Zoom WE) but in this particular case I could refine it to the web-extension Tampermonkey.

@Alice, I remember posting about this problem and you filing a bug for it some weeks/months? ago, I don't recall the bug number, but it seems the bug is still present.

STR:

EDIT:- Have the web-extension Tampermonkey installed.
- Visit a site, for example http://www.majorgeeks.com/.
- Highlight a bunch of stuff, and rightclick View Selection Source
- After the view-source tab opens, observe a complete browser lock up (no single link/tab loads, clicking web-extension icons keeps them from showing their popup content, after closing the browser it asks for crash reports to be sent).

Thanks ! Could be related, but I had Zoom Page WE disabled, I could spot the problematic extension in this case, it was Tampermonkey.

On some pages actions on the page don't seem to be able to perform page actions or follow links until after the page is fully loaded. This has been happening for a couple of days but it's only annoying and I've been to busy to track it down.

Is anyone else seeing this? Is this reported?

For now,

Code: Select all

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.showTopSites;false
seems to work.

Clicking the gear in the upper right and unchecking Highlights would seem to be a simpler and more reliable approach.
