I'm sorry if this isn't the right place for this question.
I'm a long-time user of Firefox (since 2004) and have been happy with it and continue to be.
But since Youtube rolled out 720p60, playback in Firefox has significant judder. Repeated frames, microstutters, and things of that nature.
I chalked it up to the machine's age (2010 MacBook Pro), but then noticed something interesting. The issue only occurs in Boot Camp, ie Windows 7 x64. The issue doesn't occur while running Firefox in OS X. More interestingly, 720p60 plays back just fine in Opera under Windows. Even more interestingly, 720p60 plays back fine even in Mozilla's Seamonkey under Windows! It only judders in Firefox (in Windows).
All my drivers are up to date. I thought this was a good a time as any to reinstall Windows 7 and just did so, however the problem remains. Judder, only in 720p60, only in Windows, and only in Firefox.
Here is my troubleshooting info. I've been chasing this problem for a little over a year without results.
