I have a part time home based business, with a base of emails from clients that numbers about 46,000 since 2006 - some of which I need to access at times ( most of them this year ).
But I'm getting really fed up with the crashes and errors that keep popping up in Pegasus. I guess it's a fossil.
People keep saying to switch to Thunderbird, but there seems to be no way to move these messages over, AND Thunderbird doesn't even recognize Google as a search engine? What is THAT?
Other issues are minor, like how to get around in Thunderbird, when I know how in Pegasus. I know how to color code emails, for example.
Ideas?
Switching from Pegasus to Thunderbird?

Re: Switching from Pegasus to Thunderbird?
Hi, Melissa,
As for migrating messages from Pegasus to Thunderbird, please see this article -- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Importing_from_Pegasus
And Thunderbird does recognize Google as a search engine, it's just not the"out of the box" default. This article offers guidance on changing that default and you'll find that Google is one of the options -- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/open-search
