Yep, seeing bookmark toolbar shrinkage too. Reduced by a few pixels so that it's only barely higher than the text/icons. More awkward to use.

Deliberate change. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1387846
Thanks.

They really have some poor UX people at Mozilla. If you're going to copy Chrome's menu, then at least don't f*ck it up.

They finally fixed my bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1389966
Bookmarks toolbar is bigger when added a new icon on it :-"

Were there changes to favicon selection again? Got many new icons now in Nightly...

Yep, looks terrible, I reported it here - Bug 1401494 - Buttons in Bookmarks Toolbar are height compacted/squeezed up

Looks good as it should. The Bookmark toolbar height has some specs which has to be followed.
You can check and compare it http://design.firefox.com/people/shorla ... ws-10.html
Bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1388794 will tune it a bit more, but thats only a few (2) px here and there.

Maybe now it looks like the same like on specs,
but the point is that it looks wrong and inconsistent, like shambles and clutter.
Just compare button size in Address Bar and Bookmark Toolbar.

I don't know why so much discussion about it. Open Firefox 56 and older and see how it looks there. The same as now. Bookmarks toolbar size is always consistent and has to be.
You can not compare Address Bar and Bookmarks toolbar because they both are not intended to have exactly the same height.

No, it look like a piece of shit. Same words may be applied to indents beside with urlBar and to white background of "hamburger" menu when dark theme is enabled and sidebar's head size.

I'm talking about buttons size, not toolbars size :-"
They look out of place and squeezed up, just see my screenshots.

BTW. I agree that size of toolbar should don't change if they're buttons there or not, but it's not about this issue, which made only Bookmark Toolbar button pressed into oblivion. ](*,)

I know what are you talking about, but buttons have to fit the size of toolbar, so tell me what is your suggestion ? There simply is no more room.
Bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1401523 will help a bit, but thats all what can be possible done.
The build is available on Taskcluster with this patch so you can try.
