Sort by "unread" first

Post by tuxmartin »

Hi, I'm using Thunderbird 52.3.0.

Is possible to sort messages unread first like in GMail?
I can show only unread :-(

This is what I need:

I split your post from its original location as that thread died 8 years ago.

If your need is to have a two element sort, Thunderbird doesn't support that automatically. You can display ONLY unread messages in a folder and then sort them by date or some other element. To display only unread, you can use menu path View->Messages->Unread. Sorting can then be done by clicking on the column heading you wish to sort by.

Is possible to create "virtual" folder only with unread messages?

Yes, you can search for messages in which the "Status" + "Isn't"+ "Read" and save the results as a virtual folder.
