Hmm for the search results, when hitting "delete" to remove them, they seem to re-appear when re-typing the keywords.

Unsure if this was intentional, or there's a preference to toggle?

Might be minor to some people, but I just have a tendency to delete entries with certain keywords, so having this happen now is quite annoying.

I went into Gmail and it loaded for me. I have no idea what you are calling "standard view", the options for view I see are "Comfortable", "Cozy", and "Compact".

Those are settings. There is a view if the internet connection is not up to current standards. In that view, gmail will load, but with reduced functionality. Of course, I am not sure if that is what alex is referring to.
