Maybe because Microsoft and many others are doing away with the standard horizontal text menu.

Now I am really confused.

First I do not have the Firefox "Menu Bar" displayed. Not for a long time. But ALT does bring it back temporarily and if I chose to "customize" the UI I can, with a check mark in a menu, have the "Menu Bar" always display. In Firefox. Same goes for Thunderbird.

And none of this, not one bit of it , has anything to do with Microsoft or Windows 10.

As I said. I am really confused by your comment. As well as his.
Feel free to remain confused. I explained it clearly.

Where? The ones in my bookmarks bar appear to be just fine except for that of https://www.wilderssecurity.com.

@flaneurb I don't know about Lurtz but in my Nightly there is one bookmark on the bookmarks toolbar that has a wrong favicon.
Sorry for my poor English.

The icons in the tabs are looking terrible since a few builds. Discussed here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1401777

Those that have WebRender enabled might be interested in WebRender Newletter #5
Again, some key parts of the WebRender integration are still in a very rough shape. The performance (let alone stability) is still far from reflecting the targets of this project and I wouldn’t advise using this configuration by default yet.
The post also mentions several about:config changes required to experience the WIP.

I thought it was up to RC4. Is "build 4" not the same as "RC4"?

Stop thinking. It was up to build 5.

Anyway, I noticed somebody asked on IRC about 56.0rc2 and they were informed it would be out soon. I can't find that conversation at the moment.

Shortly after that I checked for an update and my 56.0rc1 was updated.

EDIT: Just wait until 56.0rc<whatever> updates to 57.0b3 tomorrow.
